Description:

Beals Lake in Antrim County is the uppermost lake in the Elk River Chain of Lakes. Its shoreline is largely undeveloped with lots of trees and emergent vegetation.

Monitoring and Research:

Beals Lake was monitored through the Watershed Council’s Comprehensive Water Quality Monitoring (CWQM) Program from 1995-1998.
