Little Black River Watershed

The Little Black River Watershed covers 16,887 acres and assumes a more or less oval shape with its longer axis running in a northwest-southeast direction. It is approximately 8 miles long and 3 miles wide. The elevation of Lake Huron is considered to be 579.5 feet above sea level, and the highest point at the headwaters divide is approximately 920 feet above sea level, giving a maximum relief of 340.5 feet.
