Join us for our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
Meet our new Executive Director, connect with Watershed Council staff and Board, and learn about ongoing and upcoming programs to protect our Northern Michigan water resources. The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at the Perry Hotel in downtown Petoskey, however guests will have the opportunity to join a rain garden tour before or after the meeting (shuttle bus tour – space is limited).
Annual Meeting Schedule:
Registration required separately for each activity. Please only sign up for one rain garden tour.
9 a.m. Rain Garden Tour #1 (This tour is full)
10 a.m. Annual Meeting at the Perry Hotel – Reycraft Room
11 a.m. Rain Garden Tour #2 (This tour is full)
Light refreshments to follow provided at Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council in the new Watershed Discovery Center.
About the Rain Garden Tours:
The tours will last 45 – 60 minutes and the shuttle bus will pick up guests outside the Perry Hotel.
Guests will visit three local rain gardens: a private home near Magnus Park, the Petoskey Greenway Corridor Rain Garden, and the Bay View Rain Garden.
Each stop will highlight a different aspect of rain gardens—from design and installation, to maintenance and care.
Space is limited, and is first-come-first-served.
Separate registration required for the Annual Meeting and the optional Rain Garden Tour. You must register for each activity individually. For more information contact Andrea Coronado at 231.489.7272 or acoronado@watershedcouncil.org.
