BeBot: Beach Cleaning Robots at Peninsula Beach in Boyne City

August 6 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bebot, the beach cleaning robot

This event is subject to change due to weather conditions. The BeBot cannot operate in wet weather or after it rains.

Time: Morning to Noon

The BeBot is a 100% electric, eco-friendly beach cleaning robot that mechanically sifts sand, rakes seaweed, and levels sandy areas to remove plastic waste and other debris without harming the local environment.

Bebot was obtained through a partnership with the Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup (GLPC), through generous funding and support from North American energy company TC Energy. Please join us to check out the robot in action and learn how you can help reduce plastic pollution of our Northern Michigan waterways.
