Meeting Notice!
Recent beach closures in Torch Lake Township have started a conversation about faulty septic tanks contributing to water pollution.
There’s an important public meeting coming up on Wednesday, July 12 at 7pm in Torch Lake Township. The board will be discussing a “time-of-transfer septic ordinance” that would require inspections of septic systems and wells during property sales or transfers to identify threats to environmental or human health.
