Plastic pollution has been a longstanding threat to the Great Lakes. But this summer alongside the usual cleanups, beaches in Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet and Cheboygan counties will have extra help, not by hand, but with a state-of-the-art robot. As part of the Great Lakes plastic cleanup, the Bebot will arrive on northern Michigan beaches this summer.
